The Gym Journal and Score Keeper buttons are just to show what comes next. We will be working on those application in the following months.

Nutrition Journal

The Nutrition Journal allows the user to take note of what he or she is eating during the day. The program presents a line chart showing the calorie, fat, and protein consuption by date. This application can be helpfull to loose weight or to keep track where your calories come from. The common rule of thumb is to keep a diet low in fat, high in protein and moderate amounts of carbohydrates.

The user should add custom meal items for now. But a future improvement of this application will include access to the USDA's nutrition database which has 7000+ food item. The addition of this database will make the program much easier to user for casual users.

Weight Journal

The weight journal is just a convenient place to record your weigh and fat percentage. It is alwasy hard to keep track of your progress in your effort to loose or gain weight as time goes by. Writing it down in a piece of paper is one solution. But , it is always the case that the piece of paper is lost and you have to start from the beginning. Plus, the paper will not give you an easy to understand chart so you can see your progress. The Weight Journal provides this functionality.

A nice feature for the future would be to have the phone communicate with a bluetooth enabled scale so you would only need to check the progress chart whenever you need.

Just a remainder. The software is available at www.fitandroid.com, and the current version are recomended for testing only.
